The short version: we only collect what we need to help you. We keep your work private, we never share it with your college or university, we never sell your data, and we delete your files when your support ends.
Who we are
AZ Cite (azcite.com) is run by [Business name], [Business address]. If you have any questions about your data, email info@azcite.com.
What we collect
- When you sign up: your name, email, mobile number, course, the help you need, your study level, deadline and any notes.
- Files you upload: your assignment brief, drafts or slides.
- Messages: emails and messages between you and us.
- Live chat: if you use the chat on our website, your messages and any name or email you give, plus basic details such as your browser and the page you are on.
- Shop orders: your name, address, email and what you bought. Card payments are handled by our payment provider, so we never see your full card details.
- Website visits: basic information like your browser and the pages you visit, to keep the site working and secure.
Why we use it
- To reply to you and send you a support plan or quote
- To answer your questions through live chat
- To give you the support you asked for
- To contact you about your support by email, phone or text
- To process shop orders and keep our accounts
- To keep the website safe and working well, including stopping spam with Google reCAPTCHA (it checks things like how you use the page to tell people from bots)
- To send you study tips and occasional updates, only if you tick the box on our sign-up form
Your work is private
- Only the AZ Cite team helping you can see your files.
- We never share your work with your college, university or employer.
- We never sell your work, publish it or use it to train AI.
- For originality checks, we search short sentences online. We’ll always ask you first before using any outside checking tool on your work.
Who helps us run AZ Cite
We use a few trusted services to run the website. They only use your data to provide their service to us:

- WooPayments / Stripe: to take card payments safely
- tawk.to: runs the live chat on our website and stores chat messages
- Google: website fonts, Google Analytics to see how people use our site, and Google reCAPTCHA to stop spam on our sign-up form
We’ll only share your data with anyone else if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Your files: deleted within 30 days after your support ends, or sooner if you ask
- Sign-ups that don’t go ahead: deleted after 6 months
- Live chat messages: deleted after 12 months
- Your contact details: up to 2 years after we last spoke, in case you have questions
- Payment records: 6 years, because the law requires us to keep them for tax

- Essential (always on): needed for the site and shop to work, for security, and for Google reCAPTCHA, which protects our sign-up form from spam.

We remember your choice for 6 months, then ask again. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
